So... besides accompanying Aimee... I also wanted to get some shopping done and catch up with friends in London.... So one morning, I dragged Aimee to Harrods to have a look around, and even showed her the Princess Diana memorial hehe.... Harrods had a wizard and oz christmas theme for their store this year and it was very pretty.... the whole store had the wizard and the oz decorations around it and it was soooo crowded with people doing their Christmas shopping in there! Below are just a few interesting photos which I snapped while walking around....
So apparently Elizabeth Hurley has her own food line now... which is freakin hilarious to me... imagine her going around promoting: eat my organic bars/beef jerky... LMAO.

Met up with Kah Ling and Patrick for Yum char that same day.... hehe... was so excited to finally eat Chee Cheong fun again!!!!! It's my favourite yum char dish..... Funny how I've gotten myself a good bunch of friends in London considering that in my first trip to London in April early this year, I knew nobody.... but then again, it's great to be able to have friends in a foreign city.... coz they always know where are the best places to eat!!!!! hehe...
Was also able to meet up with Yunci who is in London for 1 year completing her masters at the University of London (I think). Heh, I told her that one of my "must do things" in London was to finally locate that Harry Potter trolley in King's cross station (near St Pancras International), and omg... that trolley took ages to find and we were just like walking up and down up and down till we finally found it... luckily she was very patient with me and indulged me in this touristy act of mine...

Dinner together with Yunci in chinatown.... it's near Leicester Square where we caught the musical sister act that night!!!
Sister Act was a surprisingly good musical. Originally wanted to catch another musical, but as it was sold out, we settled for this instead. Despite having seen the movie before, the songs in the musical were all pretty good, catchy and very very funny!!!!! There were a few moments in the musical when I just laughed uncontrollably (which btw is quite rare for me to do :P)
One thing I like about London is how its national museums are all free, but after Yunci told me that there was a possibility that the new govt might introduce admission fees because of the crisis... I was determined that I see the natural history museum before I leave.... I arrived at the museum a good ten minutes early before it opened, but there was actually a long queue of families there already, and it got a bit annoying towards opening time as some tourists tried to cut the queue and succeeded!!!! bleah....
I particularly liked the dinosaur exhibition in the museum, hence heaps of photos here....

There were other exhibitions which I liked, but was too engrossed to take pictures such as the mammals sections, and the section on the human body. They had a lot of cognitive psychology games (e.g. memory, sensory movement, parallax error puzzles) which were fun to play with... On top of that, they had a temporary exhibition on the wildlife photogrpahy contest of the year, where there were many entries on wildlife for diferent categories submitted over a range of ages.... I do like wildlife photography alot (trust me, if I was living in London, I would have bought the book), but I couldn't, so had to settle for a few postcards which I liked a lot....
Thus ends my london trip.... it was probably one of the more relaxing trips... where I didn't do too much sightseeing, but I indulged in myself a bit more this time (must be the birthday and christmasey moods) by shopping :P But there were still some good surprises (tennis....) and it was sad to go back to Budapest, coz it meant have to say goodbye to Aimee, and the realization that she was heading home HOME!!!!! While I still had like 2 more months before that would happen to me.... sigh.... In any case... it's my last week of work next week.... before my Christmas trip to spain starts.... and then the nightmare of packing everything starts..... oh bother....
